QHSE & Sustainability Manager / Systems Engineer
I build trustworthy management systems where quality, safety and sustainability meet — turning standards into working culture. ISO certifications from scratch, ESG reporting, and digital QHSE systems, delivered across offshore wind, maritime and tech.
I'm a QHSE and Sustainability Manager who came to quality through systems engineering — so I don't see a management system as paperwork. I see it as the operating system of an organisation: the shared logic that lets teams move fast, stay safe, and be trusted by their clients.
In my current role I built an ISO 9001:2015 system from scratch and took it all the way to DNV certification in the offshore wind sector — and I'm now leading an ISO 27001 rollout. Along the way I've stood up EcoVadis, ESG-VSME and APQP4Wind reporting, and developed in-house QHSE and supplier-qualification systems from the ground up.
What drives me is curiosity and ownership. I like understanding how the whole thing fits together, then improving it — measurably. Colleagues have also trusted me with employee-representation roles along the way, which taught me that the best systems are the ones people actually want to use. I care about the people inside the process, not just the process.
Deep expertise in management systems and sustainability, backed by a systems-engineering toolkit and hands-on digital fluency.
A balanced profile — technical rigour, systems thinking and the people skills to make them land.
Rooted in Plan-Do-Check-Act and Agile systems engineering — I turn ambiguity into a system, ship it, measure it, and improve it. Continuously.
Map stakeholders, requirements and risks. Define what "good" looks like with measurable KPIs before touching a single process.
Design lean processes and stand them up in the right tools — Monday, Azure DevOps, Coolset — so the system is usable, not shelf-ware.
Internal audits, KPI dashboards and evidence tracking. I make performance visible so decisions are grounded in data, not opinion.
Close findings, coach teams, and bake the improvement back into the standard so the gain sticks — then loop again.
Six principles behind every system I build. Each one opens a live, hand-drawn diagram of how I actually think — pick one.
A decade moving from mechanical engineering and startups to systems engineering and QHSE leadership — across India, Qatar and Norway.
I've built processes and relationships across very different cultures and industries — startups to offshore wind, India to the Norwegian coast. New context, same instinct: listen first, then systemise.
Mechanical engineering degree while co-founding a wireless startup — learned to build and sell operations from nothing.
Led CRM-driven process digitalisation in a fast-paced Gulf operations environment, lifting efficiency by nearly half.
Master's in systems engineering, then QHSE leadership in offshore wind — certified, audited and trusted by DNV and clients.
A working library of the standards, platforms and methods I use daily — and keep expanding as I learn.
Good decisions need clear data. Here's a live sample of how I turn QHSE & sustainability metrics into dashboards people can act on — rendered here in the browser.
Illustrative sample data — the shapes and interactions demonstrate approach, not confidential figures.
The discipline, curiosity and love of exploring don't switch off at 5pm. They just move to the mountains — and to helping other people move better.
I founded Rtigermovement — mobility, breathwork and stress management for workplaces. Wellbeing isn't a side interest; it's how I think about people at work too.

Working my way through the hiking trails and summits of the Norwegian west coast — one mountain, one fjord viewpoint at a time.
Friluftsliv, Norwegian style — trading the desk for a tent and a long view. It's where I reset and think clearest.
I've driven nearly every road across Møre og Romsdal — and I'm still going. Curiosity applied to a map.
Adventure is my way of learning a place completely — the same way I learn a system: cover every path, understand the whole, then keep going further.
I go deep to understand how things really work, then pick up new standards, tools and domains quickly — from ISO 27001 to agentic AI.
I take a problem end-to-end and see it through. If I say a system will be certified, it gets certified.
I build systems people trust because I listen to the people in them — colleagues know I'll look after their interests as well as the standard's.
Trained as a systems engineer — I see the connections between quality, risk, data and culture, and design for the whole, not the part.
Three countries, several industries, five languages. New context doesn't rattle me — a decade of change taught me how to settle in fast.
Yoga discipline, mountain patience, engineer's rigour. I do the unglamorous follow-up that makes quality real.
Looking for a QHSE & Sustainability lead who can build systems from scratch, get them certified, and bring people along? I'd love to talk.
